I believe I have one of these that was incorrectly labeled as a Calote. I have not been able to find any pics to verify that this is what I have, though someone sent me to some sites that have other Japalura species that look similar. I need info!! It has been eating insects, but I need to know what else to offer, etc. Thanks... : : Hi. I've been keeping Japaluras for 3 years now. They make great terrarium animals and once settled in may even breed. I think I have a gravid female now. They are always mislabeled in pet stores. I've seen them called green tree agamas, calotes (which are similar), and neon green dragons. As far as info; there isn't much. I don't remember the exact issue but there was an article in Reptile Hobbyist: : : the one with a cobra on the cover.
