Hi. I've been keeping Japaluras for 3 years now. They make great terrarium animals and once settled in may even breed. I think I have a gravid female now. They are always mislabeled in pet stores. I've seen them called green tree agamas, calotes (which are similar), and neon green dragons. As far as info; there isn't much. I don't remember the exact issue but there was an article in Reptile Hobbyist:
the one with a cobra on the cover. I don't have regular access to a computer, but if you're interested, email me at jackm@salsgiver.com and I'll send you info and pics via snailmail. Lotsa luck with lizards:)!
