The only problem(s) with 163(Juno Rd) is the lack of shoulders,inability to see traffic coming your way, and the tire testers which appear out of nowhere. Check this road out during the day-it's awesome. I wouldn't necessarily bother with 189, stick south instead.
Funny thing about alterna--they say the average is one every 30-35 nights of hunting. But beginners luck plays out as well-my brother and I found two our first night out there-one on the Pandale paved road, just west of Comstock, and the other on 277. Have fun, but don't expect too much.
