Strange noise from snake, possible infection??

Upon handling my adult male grey band tonight he started making a PFFFFT sound about every minute or so. Kinda like a little sneeze without anything coming out. He isn't weezing , and has been eating good etc.
Any opinions?? Anything else to check?
