: : Everyone is welcome to our September Public Meeting. It will be on Sunday, September 13th, from 2pm to 4pm at the San Angelo Nature Center in San Angelo, TX. There will be two separate presentations about frogs. One will be about poisonous amphibians and the other about poison arrow frogs. We should have a lot of captive bred baby snakes there also, so make plans to attend.

: We are also looking for speakers for upcoming meetings of the Society.
: If you have a special interest/expertise in an area of herpetology/herpetoculture
: or something related, please let us know so we can try to schedule presenters to
: talk about YOUR interests--otherwise it'll be back to el presidente's favorite topic
: gray-banded (uh-huck! gack! barf!)kingsnakes!

I'm a new member so I'm rather new to your brand of herptile bigotry. One of my duties is to keep my Air Force base runway free of bird-aircraft strikes. My primary line of defense is...sorry... easy to catch Crotalids. I could give a talk on that (I'm often a speaker at military and civilian bird-aircraft hazard meetings), but there's a lot of bird stuff involved too so you might not be interested. I'm also a Sul Ross graduate, so you may be even less interested.
