Criminy. Tough crowd on this forum!

Absolutely right. Adult female Geochelone chilensis. She had an ova floating free in her coelomic cavity about two years ago which I surgically removed. She had retained sperm and laid two more on her own shortly thereafter. After being kept from the male for a year, she was recombined a few months ago and passed her ova today.
