The shape of the body is just not a RES, the hinged plastron on the bottom gives it away as a mud or musk. I'm not sure what it is, but it's not a RES... Just a tip, some muds have trouble in deep water, so until you are comfortable with it's swimming ability, you may want to keep the water shallow enough that it can breath with it's feet still touching the bottom.
