A young Hieremys was my first guess as well. That head looks EXACTLY like the one I had to extract a large number of times for treatment from the big TSA confiscation (see attached- sloughed about 30% of it's scutes from infection but made it through). The coloration on the front looks the same as well.

The problem is the scutes on the carapace.....they look more siebenrockiella to me than hieremys.

And the plastron looks Mauremys...

All in all though, I'll go Hieremys as my first choice.

Been wrong before, will be wrong again
