Is that a cervical(nuchal) scute on the pictured specimen? If so, does branderhorsti have one as well?
:You're right, it's E. shultzei!
::E. dentata lack cervicals. The turtle in the pic looks to have one. Seems very similar to E. novaeguineae. Is it E schultzei or branderhorsti?

::::I'm thinkin' an Elseya spp. (dentata or novaeguineae)? Is the main range in Australia, Papua New Guinea or Indonesia?
::::Thanks
:::You're right about the genus! But it isn't dentata nor novaguinea. This species comes from Indonesia.
