help needed identifying dumped turtle

this turtle was recently dumped on me without any history except that it was supposedly CBB and about a year old. i think it is some kind of cooter, but i need a definate id so i can adjust husbandry accordingly.



please dont rag on me for any legal reasons; i did not chose to acquire this and i will get whatever permits are necessary to keep it in illinois; i have existing permits for threatened species of snake.
