:I am not sure if these snakes range up into Georgia yet, but it would not surprise me. What you describe sounds like the Brahminy blind snake. If that is what it is, it is non-venomous & will not get much larger. It is an exotic that probably got here via potting soil in shipments of exotic plants for the nursery trade.
