I don't believe the snake I saw was poisonous. It's head was not shaped properly for one. I was checking on the Internet for pictures and its body and markings on the neck/head look more like a Southern Hogshead. The rest of the markings on the body were more like some of the rat snakes, though. Again, except for the head, the body markings and body shape reminded me more of some of the contrictors and pythons. It was definitely grey with black markings. I wish I had a camera with me at the time.

I like to watch snakes, yet I have a hard time finding them. Get my brother or my sister-in-law and they will find one immediately (they are petrified of snakes). It isn't fair. My sister-in-law spotted this one.
