Well, if it was found in Denver, it's obviously somebody's escapee. It looks to me like a Desert Rosy (L.t. gracia)from the picture.
:Found at my son's middle school - under a snow-covered rock! :-( Science teacher took it in but we talked her out of it. Eating well, shed once, seems perfectly fine after the ordeal. Wondering what subspecies it is.
