well along time ago i found these snakes under old rail road ties, they had baby blue bellys, the sides and top were brown but you could barly see 3 slightly darker brown strips running head to tail on on top and one on each side, and it had a bright orange ring around its next.
now that i did some research i have to say it almost is like a freakish mix for a redbelly snake and one of those ringneck snakes. last year i was up there where i found them and didnt find nothing this area also used to have alot of skinks. oh its northwest iowa. maybe i will get lucky this year.
