That was it. It was very long and very fast. I am now kind of kicking myself for not grabbing its tail and getting a few pictures. I went into the hollow of a dead tree and was gone. Beautiful snake, and it was a great pleasure to see it.

:. this is the harmless tiger "rat" snake. It's very common throughout Central America
