:Greetings. I bought this female snake last year as a Variable Kingsnake. It is adult and has shed after brumation. My male thayeri are "scared to death" of this when put together.
:Inspite of the variability of the thayeri, this looks "different", somehow- more like a L.t. gentilis.
It just looks like one of the "light phase" thayeri to me. It definitely is thayeri, the dark spot behind the head with the light center, the dark post-ocular stripe and the diffusion of the rings on the belly are the giveaways.
:Any help would be appreciated. What does it look like to you?
:Thanks! -Steve House
