according to the picture it is green!!!! are you sure you matched the picture with the snake? sorry, but it is very green.

:I found this snake in my yard and I found a picture of a T.s. annectens that looks similar but the description said it lives in New York and Canada areas(I'm in NE Texas). I'm wanting confirmation that it is a garter snake. It has no fangs, solid dark brown on top and solid white on belly and is approx. 7" long. Thanks!
