I live in New Mexico, the four corners area. I was rocl picking and came across a lizard I have never seen before.
It was about 12 - 15 inches long (including tail)
Bright Green, patches of yellow and black down the sides and on top of the body, Red and Blue patches on the neck close to the head, the front feet were yellow. I got very close to it, it did not move, so I figure there wasn't too much out there that would make it move, unless wanting to do so on its own accord. I wish I had a camera, the only time I didn't. Can anyone tell me what it is, I am going to go back with my camera, not that it'll be waiting for its picture to be taken. But, you never know.
