:to identify. Anyone know what it might be? It a bit over a foot long and mean as hell, but I love (him/her) all the smae.


Well, it's not a sandfish or a schneider's skink. It's not a great plains as it is too big and the scales arent't "spiraled".

It is my feeling it is of the genus Eugongylus. A large forest dweller from the south Pacific. Try a search for more images at google under the genus name eugongylus to see if you get a hit.
