Small brown lacerta with numuerous cream-colored spots...

I recently bought a small lacerta from a local pet shop. It is only about 4 inches long. At first glance, it looks like an Asian long-tailed grass lizard. The shape of the head is very similar to a grass lizard's, but the tail is too short. The body is brown with a series of cream-colored spots running from the neck to the base of the tail. Any ideas?
