Found : 4 Apr. 1996
LOCATION: South of Valle De Trinidad beside Federal Highway 3. HABITAT: Desert wash beneath a rock when gathering stones to create a makeshift campfire ring. The gecko examined is believed to be of the subspecies: San Diego Banded Gecko (C. v. abbotti), considering its absents of any blotching and retaining solid bands and head crown. In addition, the known distribution of this gecko in Baja California suggests that it is of San Diego variety. WAHT DO YOU THINK? IS it a desert or SaN diego ????
