posted here, I will answer here as well. My guess is the mediterranean gecko, Hemidactylus turcicus. Native to areas around turkey, introduced to much of the southern US, from florida all the way to south texas and so on and so forth. Try to find a pic of one by searching on the net. good luck! Andy
