Please keep us posted on how they are doing. People sometimes forget to come back and say what happened to there hispidus. I have yet to take a chance on them. I would try feeding them frogs. I know that the information out there is that they had found slugs in the gut of a hispidus but I doubt that's all they eat in the wild. My guess is frogs ,lizards,slugs,bugs etc.... What we are lacking is data from the field on this ssp. What temps, what food items are in the area, what are night time drops from the spot they are found in. Alos were they perched or on the ground . Were they under a rock or a log? Keep us informed about your atheris and good luck.
