:There is no antivenin for the bushvipers, yet, and you should consider that before getting one. Bites can be more serious than have been previously reported in the literature. Do your homework and make sure that you have the right tools to keep you safe. If you do, then I think that bushvipers are far and beyond easier to keep than many other venomous snakes and they are absolutely beautiful. Good luck with your adventures.

::they scare me.....sooooooo quick. I like my tree vipers.....small size and managability is important to me :) I will definitely consider the bush vipers.....they're cute....like EWOKS lol maybe I'll name it that. Thanks for the input.

:::For your next captive, I would suggest the "Variable" Bush Viper (Atheris squamiger), if you like Eyelash Vipers, your sure to love Bush Vipers.
