Very true. They are colubrids, natricines, along with garters, european grass snakes, and garters/ribbons. I would keep them much like any of the other colubrids in the same family. Basically a dry substrate such as aspen, newspaper, or something like that with a large water bowl. Temps in the 80's with a lamp allowing for thermal gradient. I am not familiar with that exact species though, so care my range a little differently. Good luck. Andy
