The Non-Game Advisory Board of the TPWD met on Monday, June 7th in Austin. The
main thing that was discussed was the problem of people not being able to get their permits
through point of sale. One example brought up was at Wal-Mart. The employees work off
of a list which is updated once a year. These regulations came into effect in January so
their listing has not been updated as of yet. However, you can still get the permits by asking
for a specific permit number.
Resident Collection Permit - No. 548
Resident Dealer Permit - No. 549
Non-Resident Collection Permit - No.550
Non-Resident Dealer Permit - No. 551
Please keep in mind that you will need to renew your permits on September 1st of each
year.
As of now, approximately 77 Dealer Permits have been issued and approximately 495
Collection Permits have been issued.
