Yes, I presented from 11-3 on the 22nd, 23rd, and again tomorrow on the 24th! Whew! I feel for you teachers!
I think we got alot across to them, and hopefully instilled a better respect for all life.
I brought along a turtle and a tortoise, to show the difference, and because I'm always a Herper at heart!
Thanks to Raul and the Zoo for the loan of the Centipede, Red-Knee Tarantula, and Garden Snails.
I also took my own mealies, pupae, & beetles, as well as, my African Emperors, Crickets, and several visual aides.
They had lots of herp related questions, and I found out that many of them keep herps and invertibrates as pets. So we spent alot of time disscussing proper care.
I'm pooped!
