Another Turtle Question.

Does the Painted Turtle need to hibernate? It is seems to want to hide away from the Basking Light and Day lightbulb. Occasionally, I will see it eat some Fluker Turtle Food, but not very often. It even tries to crawl under a submerged rock. Don't worry, the rock is very secure. I also have a student who is going to watch the classroom turtles over the Holidays. Do you have any other advice?
