If the allegation is true and not an exaggeration or a misstatement, I agree that making violent threats is totally unacceptable and any evidence of same should go to the authorities. I don't think the majority of people on this forum are stooping to that level however. I think we maybe have one nut case who decided to blow his temper on somebody's answering machine because he was too cowardly to talk to a live person.
I'm very firmly against venomoiding, especially by non veterinarians for the public market. But I don't condone making threats on people's answering machines, and I don't think that whoever did this is really helping our side of the cause at all. I'm asking my fellow anti-venomoiders not to do anything like this because it's not only illegal, it's bloody stupid.
If you're really angry at a kitchen table venomoider, don't threaten him. Don't talk to him at all. Do talk to the relevant state authorities regarding practicing veterinary medicine for money without a license and using controlled drugs at home.
