most of the morons on this forum that are so quick to make accusations towards Rich, have no idea what they are talking about and know absolutely nothing about him. A few of us on here are lucky enough to know him, know of his knowledge, and respect the skills that he has, and furthermore, know what he has done for the reptile community and continues to do for it everyday.

:The irony of this is that Rich is one of the few people who does the surgery under hygenic conditions, sterile equipment and proper post opp care including antibiotics.
:Removing the glands has no effect on the health of the animal in relationship to hot snakes which are fed prekilled prey, thus removing predisgestion as an issue.
:Unless the snake is being actively milked for research, the presence/absense of glands is also irrelevant.
:Behaviourally the snake doesn't change since the glands do not control hormones like testicals would in a neutered dog or cat.
:I do have an issue with people who get venomoids just to act like f*wits and show off. This is the same thing as chilling down snakes in a refridgerator to look really cool freehandling on television.
:A venomoid snakes is still an object of wonderment and love. The people who keep them may not be purists by some peoples definitions but that does not change the fact that they share the same fascination for the animals.
:If a person is against venomoiding, great. Good on em. Don't buy em. But don't continue the same divisive behaviour and certainly don't go into the gutter and start threatening violence. If you have an opinion, do it maturely and logically.
