One thing that happened is that I lost alot of apprehension when dealing with my non-venomous reptiles. For example when I would handle a reticulated python or a green Anaconda I use to be "cautious" about being bitten. Over the last few years I have noticed that I generally just reach in and grab them now, niot being as worried abpout being bitten. It seems they just do not seem as dangerous anymore. (I know they are). But I still really enjoy my non-venomous also
:i know that 99.9% of you didnt start out with venomous snakes...but after you got your first venomous snake did you feel at all like owning normal snakes was "worth it"...i have been told that once you start keeping venomous your only going to want to keep venomous...and i see the attraction...but is it true for anyone here...
:also venomoid keepers...after you got your first venomoid did you decide to ditch the venomous and just keep venomoids...
:thanks...
