PET
NOUN:
1. An animal kept for amusement or companionship.
2. An object of the affections.
A dog or a cat may choose our campanionship, but any animal that has to be locked in a cage is a slave kept for our own amusment. A toy.
Weather you want to admit it or not. We have been PLAYING GOD. From the moment we put an animal in a cage we are responsible for every aspect of it's life. What it eats, when it eats, if and when it may reproduce, were it lives, If it lives or dies.
AND I'M NOT JUST TALKING ABOUT HOW WE CARE FOR OUR ANIMALS.
Through selective breeding and inbreeding, we are producing color morphs that are not found in nature. We are creating hybrid, and geneticly modifide animals that have never before graced this planet. We are even puting microchips in our toys, (our pets) so that we can prove our OWNERSHIP.
It has become "human nature" to bend the rules of Nature so they fit our needs, and wants.
Once we put a snake in a cage it is "dead" to nature... It might be wrong to cut the glands from a venomous snake, but it is wrong to OWN one in the first place.
We are all guity of the same "crimes aginst nature." Quit trying to judge each other.
We are all here for the same reason. We want to talk about our toys.
A rose is a rose, and a cobra is a cobra. Lets get back to buisness.
