::There are plenty of non-venomous snakes available in the pet trade. Why not just buy one of them? To me, venomous snakes are cool because they demand respect. Take that away & it's just a shell of itself. It's like removing the teeth of a lion.


:This Monacled was surgicaly devenomized 10 years ago and is alive and well today. The bottom picture represents the "Mutilation" people claim the surgery to be.
