:and I was told they rarely ever bite...even adults. I found this by just glancing down underneath the Los Patos Ranger Station in Corcovado. It's was the brightest red I've ever seen in a snake.

I don't know about w/c, but my cb mussuranas are totally mellow to handle. The red disappears pretty quickly though, as mine are about 3 feet long, and almost totally black.
