:Hey,
::If you want something other than a Copperhead which is a great venomous beginner & meets all of your criteria, try a Desert Horned Viper- Cerastes.

: I would eventully like to get a venomous snake once ive got my vemon license in about a year or so , but i would like to be ready first. I have delt with venomous spiders and scorpions but never a venomous snake. There has been a few things on a few of my friends order lists that look pretty cool ( eyelash vipers, rhino vipers, gaboon vipers, westren diamond backs, eastren diamond backs, mangroves etc) fer ok prices but the things that are ok priced arent always best. I would like to hear what you think would be the best starter venomous snake. I would like something readily availible, not too big, ok temperment, reasonably slow stricker, usually ok price, fairly hardy, usually cb. Hopefully thats not too big of a list lol....it can be changed a bit if needed lol....even tho i would like a " slow " striker doesnt mean i dont have good reflexes...dealing with caimans, monitors, snapping turtles, an array of fast stricking snakes and alot of other things , gives you pretty good reflexes

:thanx in advance
