::Derek, The animal was wild caught in the Congo. It came in with several others. Unless one of the snake's parents had a passport and some money to get a plane from Congo to Tanzania, I find it unlikely that it is a hybrid. Just kidding, it might however, be another subspecies. I may work towards deciphering that soon.
