As soon as I get the results of the autopsy, I will post them. It is sad but the ME did not even know that vipers fangs spread when they strike so that you can't tell from the resting interfang distance what the interfang distance will be when a strike is made. There was a short piece in the Dec 99 issue of the Sonoran Herpetologist, N/L of the Tucson Herp Soc, by Dr. David Hardy. THS has a link from kingsnake.com.
