You have to be very careful if you intend to purchase any reptile from a show. Many of the booths are operated by "fly by nights" who will not be around to help you or answer any questions. Sometimes (but NOT always) the animals for sale MAY be skinny, sick or ill tempered. The few dollars you may save can cost you a lot of money in after care or heartache. If you are not an experienced reptile owner, please, save your money and buy from a reputable breeder. JMHO.

:I bought my Saharan Uromastyx at the Tampa Herp show for $50! It was WC and under fed. It also got an eye infection not a week after I got him! But I nursed him back to health! He is now happy and growing fat! If I was you, I would save the trouble of trying to nurse a uro back to health and just get a CB one. Here is a Before and After pic of my uro.
