Well, he may need to go on a diet but my egyptian eats all day long. He finishes a whole "bunch" (from the store) of greens every day and gets quite mad if there is no food in his cage. His food bowl is a pie plate and he eats 2-3 full platefulls a day. My vet says to let him eat as much as he wants at least until his burns have completely healed.

My younger egyptian I feed a bit each day too to make sure the food does not dry out as he does not eat the dried out greens. Some days he will eat a lot some days he'll sleep all day...it all depends.
