Prickly Pear Cactus Blooms..

There is also a table with the nutricional value.

My guess is that you vcan feed it to them, but keep giving endive as a main food. Not only flowers of the cactus, because that is not nutricious enough.

Have no experience with these flowers myself, because in the Netherlands these plants don't grow in the wild.
