Treating Tail Rot..

My uro does NOT have tail rot! I'm just curious as of how I would go about doing this. I was thinking about buying the two Malis at Animal House that are in with the iguanas, instead of buying one from online for the price I can get two for. I fear they may have tail rot from the frequent mists they get everyday. If I do get them, and it does turn out they have tail rot.. how should I treat it?
