I would say take your time and not pick it up too quickly or maybe just hold it or pet it in the enclosure for a few times before trying to take it out. Or maybe take it out and put it in a tupperware and pet it and hold it there as a middle step. It is scared and that is a sign so just try anything to keep it from being scared. For a long time, like I said I talked to mira and now whenever she is really upset I talk to her in a nice tone and she will calm down alot better. Just have to take your time with it I guess =) good luck! molly
