I'm just a little confused here. You say that the parasite was making her sick. If she has parasites (such as a type of worm) then she would need medication to get rid of it. The worms eat everything she takes in therefore causing her to lose weight. They eventually will end up eating her alive.
I'm glad that she did manage to poop. I'm going thru a tough time with my uro who quit eating, drinking, basking, everything. Here, he has food stuck in his intestines that won't come out. I have been trying to get him to pass it for awhile now but he hasn't as of yet. Fortunately my vet is helping me thru it all pumping him up with fluids and me feeding him baby food. so far he is hanging in there pretty darn good and is perky, but wont eat or pass it. ugh
back to the vet i go today!

good luck to you!! I hope she will come around! OH..btw..she can have up to about 6-8 cc's of food at a time. Wanted to make sure she's getting enough! :)
Renee
