I bought a mali pair on Tuesday and haven't seen them till today. The male came out from his rock 4 times today. The first two times when he saw me he would run back to his rock, but on the third and fourth time he would lick my hand, bask, and explored around the tank. I think he is really starting to get acclimated. He would lick the lettice but wouldn't eat it. On the other hand the female which is gravid is still hiding. I am getting worried because she is gravid, and she is not eating at all because she is in a new tank. Her tail is getting really skinny. What should I do to help her out. I have 2 nesting boxes and 2 little caves that are cool and some what moist. How will I know where she lays her eggs if she does, and since I dont know how long she has been gravid when should i really start getting worried about egg binding. Should I take her out of the tank and get a few pictures of her so you guys can judge how far she is in pregnacy and how skinny her tail is. I know she was not neglected when I got her because I bought her from Deer Fern Farms, and her tail seems to keep on getting skinnier.
