I have never been so hapy for poo!

When I came home from school i saw my male mali out for the first time since i got him. When he saw me he ran to his burrow but as i looked closer to the soil where he was there was big pice of poo. It had a hole bunch of seeds in it. Does this mean when i'm not home my male and female mali's roam around the cage. This is day for of acclimation. Is this normal taking 4 days to poo in a new cage?
