I'm going to guess that he had them when you got him. More than likely, your vet will give him something like flagil (if I remember correctly) to de-worm him. The problem that may arise, is that there does need to be some level of parasitic activity within the uro to help him digest his food (as you may know, they don't chew their food). I forget the correct terminalogy, but basically, if they "wipe out" his system, you'll have to replenish the bacteria(?) in his system. The product that has been suggested to me in the past, is Nutribac. I've never heard anything but good things about it. I'd definately ask your vet about the restoring of his stomach and such. Good luck.

:About five minutes ago I discovered little white moving things on the feces of my little 4 inch mali, Aida. I'm very concerned. I obviously am going to take her to a vet tomorrow, but I would like to have some sort of heads up to what it is and how it would be treated. Could this have come from dandelions I have given her? I have washed them in water, but I didn't know if that was enough of a cleaning. That's the only thing I could guess that has given her this problem. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
