If you're sure they're not eating other that from your hand, you can put your hand out to feed them, and eerytime, put it a bit closer to the food dish. Eventually, showing them that you're putting the food from your hand into the dish, where there is already food. They'll get the picture. As for the eyes bugging out...NOPE. Haven't seen that one, nor do I think I want to.

:I can't tell that my uro is eating , so far he only eats out of my hand , but we haven't seen him eat on his own! when do they usually eat ? and an off topic ???--- has anyone seen their uro's eyes bug out? or swell for about 3 seconds?
