It is strange: He will look up (even though all he sees is his basking light), cock his head and fan his beard. It is similar to their threat display only he fans his beard in and out about 3-4 times and his ncek and chest are not black. He does it in the morning when his lights come on and he wakes up. I haven't seen him do it at night. I didn't start counting the times he was right until about 2 months ago. He is by a window but I don't know how important that it is. It is incredibly cloudy today but no rain so far (and ZZ didn't indicate there would be any rain). We shall see.
I love him. (I am sure Uro owners love their babies too.)
My husband couldn't get past the Uro's looks. I wanted one but he says they are ugly. So we got a Beardie (I was glad my hubby could partake in my hobby...I love Reptiles--he doesn't :( )

:How does your Beardie tell you when it's going to rain? Does he stay hidden, does he walk funny, what kind of behavior does he demonstrate to let you know when it's going to rain and how far in advance?
:Just curious because I've never owned a Beardie :)
