In Reply to: Black Lights in place of Reptile bulbs? posted by Hlynn1975 on April 19, 2003 at 13:49:05:
:I read a care sheet that said that a blacklight tube could be used in place of a reptile uva/uvb tube. Is this correct? I'm just wondering because if I can use a black light tube it would be a lot cheaper but I don't want to use one if it won't work or could be damaging.
:Thanks.

I really want to know the answer to this aswell Heather. I do know that blacklight does emmit UVB rays, but I do not know if it's an adequate suplement to the 50$ pet stope reptile bulbs.
