Concerned About The Size Of Female.

It's nothing really to do with her being small for how old she is, it's more of her being a small female with a male who's reached sexual maturity. My female is about 10 inches long, she's a mali so she hasn't reached her maximum length. I was just curious if I should seperate my male and female until she gets bigger, with the concern of her possibly becoming/being gravid?
